Vahe Kolo

Vahe Kolo Football Club is a football club based in the city of Kolo, Ata, Tonga. In 2008/09, the team finished 9th in Tonga Major League. The club enjoyed national success during the 1980s and the 1990s, with many of its players playing for their countries.
Their home ground is the Vahe Kolo Arena, which was opened in Ata in 2004. Their previous ground from 1974 to 2004 was the Kolo Stadium, Kolo, Ata.
==History==
The club was founded in 1974. It was one of the premier football clubs in the TML in the 1980s and 1990s and many of its players were capped during that time for Tonga. These included George Cole, Bill Gittings, Peter Rossborough, John Barton, Barry Ninnes, Peter Preece, Alan Cowman and Graham Robbins. Other top players of that era were John Gray, Brian Holt and Steve Thomas. The club was renowned for exciting attacking football.
